A new book club for children 5-8 years will begin monthly meetings March 20th and continue every third Thursday of each month at 4:00 p.m. The new club members will need to register and pick up the book “Buffalo Before Breakfast” of the popular Magic Tree House series by Mary Pope Osborne.  At each month’s meeting, book club members will enjoy discussion of the book and related snacks, crafts and activities lead by Youth Services staff.

   This program is added to the already popular Pageworms book club for those 8-12 years which meets the first Thursday at 4:00 p.m. Pagemasters is a teen book club meeting the second Thursday of each month. For information regarding all library youth programs, please call 882-8895 ext. 21.

   A new story time begins this Thursday at the South Suburban branch of the library, located across from the fairgrounds in the Town and Country shopping center across from BigLots. This new story time for preschoolers begins at 10:00 a.m. every Thursday with easy stories, and includes a simple craft project. Next week’s craft will be a Spring chick.
