We are very excited to announce the addition of OverDrive MP3 Audiobooks to our Downloadable Media collection! The OverDrive MP3 Audiobook offers iPod®, iPhone™, and iPod Touch support!

The service features downloads of audio titles for adults, teens and children. Klamath County Library patrons will also discover downloadable video within the collection. Many of these titles are “Always Available.” Remaining titles may have limited checkouts, but can be put on hold by any Klamath County Library cardholder.

Funding comes from the Oregon State Library’s Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) competitive grant program. The grant was awarded to the Oregon Digital Library Consortium for the benefit of member libraries including Klamath County Library. Formed in 2005, Oregon Digital Library Consortium is dedicated to the goal of delivering more online services to library card holders through shared purchasing power and resources.  The ODLC is the first consortium of its kind in Oregon devoted to the electronic resource sharing needs of public libraries and currently serves 2.7 million Oregon residents.
