What to do @ your library
Whether it's storytimes, book clubs or movies, there's something for every kid at your Klamath County Library.
Storytimes
- Tuesdays @ Noon Lunchtime Storytimes For kids of all ages. Bring a paper bag lunch and your listening ears for great stories.
- Bedtime Stories, Tuesdays @ 6:30. Wear your jammies and settle in for a fantastic betime story.
- Fridays @ 10:15am Get Creative @ Storytime For kids 7 and under. Kids and parents interact through fingerplays, songs, stories and a craft.
- Stories in the Park. Summertime Fun. Check the calendar to see which park were at and when we'll be there.
Book Clubs
- Pageworms 7-12 Year Olds: 1st Thursdays @ 4:00pm. Different titles every month. Choose the ones you like. Discussion and activities will be held on the 1st Thursday each month @ 4:00.
- Bookmasters Teen Book Club: 2rd Thursday @ 4:00pm. Pick a new book for each month. Discussion and activites will be held on the 2nd Thursday at 4:00.
- PrintKids 5 to 8 Year Olds: 3rd Tursdays at 4:00, the Book Club for our younger readers. Book talk and activites will be held on the 3rd Thursday of the month @ 4:00.
Books for Babies
The N.E.W. Corporation and your Klamath County Library present...Books for Babies! If you have a new baby in the house (up to 12 months old)
See the Youth Services Desk for a Library Card application for your baby and an invitation to our baby shower.
Research shows that babies should be read to every day by the time they are 6 months old. Give your baby a head start on reading with a library card.
When your baby gets a library card you get a choice of a free board book to add to your home libary.
Ask at the Youth Services desk for more details.
Puppy Tales
- 1st and 3rd Tuesdays, 2nd and 4th Wednesdays @ 4:00. Children, grades K through 6, are invited to improve your reading skills and make a new friend by reading aloud to Easton, the therapy dog. ( Easton is a certified therapy dog, and registered with the R.E.A.D. program. ) Sign up 48 hours in advance for your 20 minute session.
